We were always told to resist falling for a house. In this case we couldn't, so we were
very aggressive with our offer based on Trevor's advice. We conducted a preinspection and sewer scope to ensure there weren't going to be any expensive surprises. We were first time buyers, and initially contacted Robin McCue. Robin held our hand through out the initial stages of our house hunting and was extremely patient and helpful with our lack of experience. With Robin's we placed an offer to our first house, and she helped us navigate the bidding for this house. Robin's comparables and insight helped us in determining the house was slightly overpriced, these and other shortcomings finally made us decide against the house.

When it came to 4465 Brygger Dr House, it turned out some other clients of Robin placing an offer on the house, and that's how we came to work with Trevor. Trevor is a true professional. He did such a great job of guiding my husband and I through our first sale. He gave us great advice and insight on our listing, his team was flexible and organized. While looking for houses in the Duvall area, I came across a house that I liked, which was listed on Molly's website. At the time, which was only a month ago, I didn't have a realtor, so I contacted Molly and asked her to arrange a visit. Ordinarily, it would be enough to point out that a mere 4 weeks later I have a home and the satisfaction that my interests have been looked after, down to every single detail. However, when it comes to Molly's work, more must be said.

For me there weren't actually any drawbacks to the redfin approach. If anything, I felt they provided more services then a full price agent because of how well the whole team approach is structured and how helpful Trevor was. It was really helpful and refreshing to have agents who were free to point out positives and negatives of properties you were considering ‐ it really seems like a better approach to real estate to me. For me it was very convenient and low stress to be able to schedule tours online. Even though there are more steps to buying a bank owned house like mine, I think this was the most smooth and hassle free of any of my house purchases! The only one area where Trevor could improve is in taking a stand with opinions. He was reluctant to share his opinion when asked, and prefered to state facts and have us make up our mind. This is appreciated in many circumstances, but sometimes when an opinion is asked, it would be nice to get his expert thoughts, especially given we are new to the buying process. Overall, Trevor was a joy to work with and we would recommend him to our friends.

I was impressed at times with Trevor's knowledge and ability to react and come up with a plan when we were put into a new and very  unique situation. Trevor always had a plan and was a step ahead. He and his entire staff were always available to meet someone at the house for any variety of reasons (we probably had around 10‐15 appointments for inspectors, contractors, bids, etc.) This was my 5th RE transaction in the last 7 years and I have no idea why anyone would use any company other than Redfin. Refin works harder and is better/easier to work with than other RE companies, and the rebate is unbeatable. Trevor and his team in particular are great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Trevor's preparatory advice was crucial to the success of our sale. He also ran comparable analyses a few times to make sure we were pricing our home correctly. Yet the Redfin model operates as such so you also have a great team of supporting people too. This is our second transaction with RedFin and we are such huge fans of Trevor and this model of selling/buying homes. Our home was listed, sold and closed within a span of 30 days . We had 10 offers and sold for well over asking price. We're hard pressed to think of any way Trevor (& his team) could have done any better.

Trevor was great! He helped us save money by not hiring a stager and gave advice on how to
remove items or decorate as a stager would and I feel our house looked great with our efforts and Trevor's tips. He also helped us decide on a selling price based on the recent
changes in the market and we received an offer within 2 days and were able to close
within 1 month after listing. He was always very responsive to phone calls and emails. His
associate, Bryan, was also great and a pleasure to work with. Together they offered
great service. Trevor was out on leave for a few days between our offer acceptance and
the closing and he left us various contacts that answered our questions so we never felt like we were left waiting.
The only negative experience in the sale of our house was with regards to the open house
events, which Trevor did not host. We expected 2 things from the open house events: 1) to receive timely updates/summary of the open house so we could adjust anything if needed prior to the next open house and 2) the house would be secured up with all doors/windows checked and locked after the open house. We had to solicit the update/summary from the Broker that hosted the open house events instead of receiving the summary soon after the open house. When I did end up contacting her, we didn't have any time to adjust anything in the house (fortunately there weren't negative comments but this info should have been summarized right after the 1st open house) . On the 2nd open house we came back after being gone several hours after the open house had finished to find our back door not just
unlocked but wide open. Fortunately nothing had been taken but it was extremely unsettling to come home to this especially since we still had personal items in the home. As I mentioned above, Trevor had not been the hosting agent at either open house (it was
one of the Redfin Brokers). We called Trevor and he sincerely apologized to us and said he
would talk with the Broker. She ended up leaving a message apologizing about the incident but it definitely left a sour taste in our mouth.
Overall we feel we would recommend Trevor to a friend or aquaintance but would inform them about the open house mishap and recommend they they not have this specific Broker at their open houses based on our experience.

Trevor made the home buying process seem easy. His team aleays responsed promptly to questions and kept me informed of what was going on with the purchase of our first home. He was easy to reach by phone and email 99% of the time, and he followed through on several outside inquiries to the selling agent, etc., in a timely manner. He was friendly, calm, and collected, even when the home‐buying process is sometimes stressful. Though I felt perfectly comfortable dealing with Trevor (and all the Redfin staff except the feild agents) strictly by phone and email, it would have been nice to be able to meet inperson once. Trevor Smith: Savior of Deals. That is not an exaggeration. It's difficult to make this a short story, but here goes: between the time we were preapproved and our offer was accepted, my wife started her own business. Her business is very successful so we had no idea being self‐employed for less than two years could affect our ability to get a loan. After two mortgage brokers told us "No" I told Trevor it wasn't going to work.
