The Small Print: Certain Locality Brokers offer a 4% Listing Commission but some do not. Those who offer the 4% Listing are featured on this page and have a 4% Listing Badge on their Locality profile page. Make sure to choose a Broker who offers the reduced commission. The 4% Listing is based upon a 1.5% Listing Commission and a 2.5% Buyer’s Agent Commission. At the Seller’s option, the Buyer’s Agent Commission can be increased to 3% for a total commission of 4.5%. Unfortunately we’re unable to offer the 4% Listing to Buyers who come to us through third party sites such as Zillow, Trulia, Estately, Realtor.com or other lead generation sites. This is because we have to pay these media sites for referrals, so please support your local small business and contact us directly. Due to their complexity, Locality is also unable to guarantee the 4% Listing Commission on short sales, dual agency transactions, vacant land transactions, relocation transactions, REO’s (Bank Owned transactions), Manufactured Homes in Parks, Houseboats, and other unique transactions. In addition, homes with a listing price below $300,000 may not qualify for the 4% Listing. Please consult your Locality Agent for the full details of your listing fee. Your Listing Agreement and Listing Input Sheet will be the sole legal agreement between you and Locality regarding your commission structure. Please read it carefully and let us know if you have any questions prior to signing.
